This week, Rare Beauty have introduced the fantastic Pure Savvy to their range. Pure Savvy’s founder, Steph Kelby, describes the brand as “smart skincare for time savvy women”. It’s skincare that acknowledges the busy lifestyle so many of us lead, without compromising on quality; it delivers high-performing products formulated with natural ingredients and without too much fuss.

When I first heard of Pure Savvy, it immediately struck me as a range that I felt would be perfectly suited to me; I particularly loved the branding, the founder’s ethos and her dedication to powerful, determined and hard-working women! As someone who’s almost always strapped for time in the morning (helloooo snooze button), I was so intrigued as to whether Pure Savvy’s products really would make my skincare routine more efficient, while still delivering the desired results.
For a whole week, I almost exclusively used Pure Savvy (the only exceptions were my cleanser, exfoliator and SPF moisturiser) in order to thoroughly test it out! Here are my thoughts on each of the products I used:
‘Come Hell or High Water’ 3-in-1 Micellar Water
The perfect time-saving product, this 3-in-1 Micellar Water really does cover a lot of bases in your skincare routine… it removes makeup, cleanses and tones, plus it can also be used as a hydrating and refreshing skin spritz throughout the day! Formulated with Rose Water, Snow Mushroom and Cucumber, it’s soothing, gentle and almost fragrance free.
I have been using this product twice a day after my initial gel cleanser as a second cleanse and to tone my skin; I’ve really found it to be excellent at removing any makeup residue left after my first cleanse and keeping my skin clear, as well as being super refreshing in the morning and giving my skin a pick-me-up.

‘Power Surge’ Instant Skin Boost Facial Oil
If you keep up with my blog, you’ll know that I’m a HUGE fan of a facial oil and this Power Surge Oil has been an absolute pleasure to receive and test. With a subtle orangey scent, this lightweight oil is uplifting and nourishing. I have found that my skin looks and feels invigorated, hydrated and smooth after using this.
The oil contains a boost of Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) which is naturally produced in the human body but declines with age; this promotes the production of collagen and elastin to maintain youthful skin. It also contains calming and skin-protecting Marula oil and firming Spilanthes Acmella flower extract.

‘Just a Minute!’ Brightening Facial Mask
This Facial Mask was a total surprise to me on first use, as I was expecting a clay-based mask and was instead greeted with a gel-like texture out of the bottle! With exfoliating fruit enzymes such as Bilberry, Grapefruit, Orange and Lemon, this mask only requires 60 seconds of playtime to leave your skin looking radiant, yet is gentle enough for sensitive skin!
I really enjoyed using this product as it is unlike anything I’ve ever used before; usually masking feels like a real ritual that you have to set aside a fair chunk of time for, but with this nifty product it’s very easily integrated into even the busiest of weeks!

‘Eye-to-Eye’ Revitalising Eye Serum
This Eye Serum is really refreshing for tired eyes; I’ve found it certainly helps them to look and feel more awake by cooling the area and reducing puffiness! It’s super light and gentle, absorbing quickly and leaving no residue, meaning that it’s suitable for use in the morning before applying makeup! With Snow Mushroom and Vitamin C, this serum can also help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the delicate eye area.
However, it doesn’t matter how much sleep I get, I do find that my dark circles just DO NOT want to budge and as much as I have thoroughly enjoyed this product, it hasn’t worked miracles on those. All-in-all, though, I’m very happy with the overall experience of using this serum and have certainly seen a lot of improvement to the general appearance of my eye area!

‘Multi-Tasker’ Beauty Balm
The delicate scent and instant melting texture of this Beauty Balm has made it a real winner in my book; like the Facial Oil, I find it has a subtle orangey fragrance. Another very versatile product (it’s in the name, after all!), this can be used for various purposes and feels incredibly nourishing wherever it is used on the body!
The balm contains an array of skin-conditioning ingredients including Camellia (white tea) oil, Watermelon Seed oil and Apricot oil, as well as Shea butter which is especially beneficial for dry and damaged skin.

Overall, I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the Pure Savvy range and have found that using it almost exclusively for a week made my skin look especially radiant and clear. It has been amazing to get a really thorough insight into the brand and I’m so pleased to have incorporated these gorgeous products into my everyday routine!
To celebrate the launch, Rare Beauty are offering 20% off Pure Savvy whilst initial stocks last, so why not try out this fabulous brand for yourself!

That facial oil sounds fantastic and eye serum also sounds good, would love to try them both. But for now they are going on my wishlist as I have some other products to use first!
Yes, they’re both lovely! It’s such a great range… definitely give it a try when you can!
