Plastic Free July is here and throughout the month I’ll be sharing some of my plastic-free swaps here on my blog – both recent and not so recent – across several categories; Beauty, Bathroom & Body Care and Kitchen, Cleaning & On-the-Go! These will be by no means exhaustive lists as I still have a long way to go before becoming completely plastic-free, however I hope they will inform and inspire others who are taking the journey along with me, throughout July and beyond!
The Plastic Free July initiative has been running since 2011 and is organised by the Plastic Free Foundation, an Australian non-profit organisation. The aim is to encourage participants around the world to reduce or eliminate single-use plastics for the month of July each year, hopefully making changes that will become ongoing habits! You can find out more and sign up for the official challenge on the Plastic Free July website; by signing up to the challenge, you will receive motivational emails with tricks and tips to help you keep going with refusing single-use plastics throughout July and beyond!
