The Kindness Kimono is a brand by The Kindness Collective, an Australian online store that sources “treasures and treats that have been made in the name of Kindness from around the globe and which at the same time give back.”
Each kimono purchased gifts a reusable sanitary kit to a girl or woman living in period poverty. They are made in Cambodia from remnant fabric rolls that could otherwise have ended up in landfill, so each kimono design is limited due to the small quantity they receive of each fabric pattern! The kimonos come in a variety of lengths and styles; they are beautifully made, lightweight and super versatile.
The kimonos are currently only available to order from Australia, and range in price from $49 to $69 AUD (approximately £26 to £37).
Why not support The Kindness Collective’s mission by purchasing a beautiful kimono?
Please note: The pictured kimono was gifted to me for review by the brand. The Kindness Kimono were previously running a second UK-based website when the item was gifted to me, however are currently only shipping from Australia due to stocking arrangements. Overseas shipping to the UK costs $15 AUD (approximately £8).
